Can you improve my E/Me Echo Build?
I 'am' planning on getting the Elite 'Echo' so I have 2 Echoes (maybe). At the moment I currently have:
By the way, this is for when I go Tombs on my PvE character (Jahara Zepplin).
Aura of Restoration
Fire Attunment
Arcane Echo
Meteor Shower
Glyph of Sacrifice
Inferno
Flame Burst
Resurrection Signet
Usually, I:
AoR > FA > AE > MS > Inferno > Flame Burst > GoS > MS
And such. Anyone improve it?

I don't know about this as a PvP build... Meteor shower doesn't only take ages to cast, but can be avoided simply by running out of the way. If you're playing against a relatively coordinated team, you'd either be interrupted or worse, you'd be allowed to waste 5 seconds casting a spell that has no effect.
Inferno and Flame Burst need you to be right next to your opponent too... not a wise idea if you're not tanking, especially since elementalists are so squishy.
This is a standard PvE build. Useful for PvE only because enemies are usually too dumb to run out of the AoE effects of MS.
You'd probably be dead by the time you reach the second MS in your chain against tombs teams. Especially since, at that point, you're right next to the enemy.
Improvements? If you must go fire, get some quicker casting spells that can't be as easily avoided. Try causing status effects like burning, get some health degen as well as spike damage going.

Believe it or not, this build works good, I get around 2/3 good monks that keep me alive, and the opponents usually don't target me, and some are dumb to move out of my AoE in the Tombs xD
Maybe Mind Burn? But it'd mean I don't need to get 'Echo'?

In general, AoE spells are avoided in tombs and pvp arenas because most players simply need to move a few feet to the left or the right and they're out of the AoE. However, you add a water spell or two (say ice spikes, deep freeze, or the mind freeze elite - especially against non-ele primaries) to slow them down, and then you could make a very effective AoE pvp'er. But a lot of this is practice and tweaking the build.
Remember, EVERY build in GW has a counter. There is no exception. It's a question of knowing what is effective against what.
For that build, I'd actually suggest taking mark of rodgort, and echoing that. With a high enough firemagic, you can hex a few targets, and use met shower or firestorm, and set them on fire.
Here's a buddies build for a pvp fire elem.
Res Sig
Echo elite
Arcane echo
Immolate
fireball
Mark of rodgort
firestorm
mark of rodgort
He switches the last few around, but the idea's the same. He'll echo mark of rodgort, cast it on 3 people in the same area, then hit them with fireball. The idea is to keep the people burning.
As for mind burn, it is an elite skill, so you would lose echo, but you'd gain the ability to set just about any non-ele primary on fire, with a nice amount of damage thrown in.
Try stuff out, that's what the random and teams pvp arenas is for. Once you think you have the build set, try it in tombs.

Might wanna try glyph of renewal instead of echo. I get much better results out of it for long cooldown spells, especially if you have more than one.

maybe you have never seen a team of 6 echo nukers. its quite funny when they all drop a meteor shower on a different target at the same time.
btw the real echo nuker are m/ele.
if you really want to go with ele get glyph of renewal instead of echo. with echo you will get 1 casting out of it every 40 seconds. glyph has a 15 sec recharge. you use echo for spammable spells and glyph for long recharge spells.

fire in pvp is NOT a big no. heres a really effective fire build for tombs:
fireball
flameburst
arcane echo
meteor shower
elemental attunement
fire attunement
resig
ward against foes/melee/windborne/extra
meteor shower is great on altars, arcane echo + flameburst gives really nice damage to a team that balls up, arcane echo + fireball gives really nice damage to someone thats not next to you, but its slower than flameburst, etc etc.
all in all it punishes people that dont use prot spirit. and it definetly works, if i needed someone to just spread damage around a team i would go with a fire ele. air is far too limited to one target, water just doesnt have as much damage as this build, it has other uses. earth is great and all with the earthquake/aftershock build, but i find that the fire ele build can actually sustain the damage longer.
however to the point about the use of echo as the elite: echo only differs from arcane echo in that it affects non spells and costs less energy. for that reason, i dont see a point in taking echo over arcane echo if you plan to use it on something like meteor shower. as to taking both... well... i really cant see how 3 copies of a spell would work on an elementalist.

If i had a million faction...
(from what i understand) I tend to agree that meteor shower and flame burst/inferno would be bad choices for tombs. Meteor shower might do decent, but the only way to make it most efficient is to have fast cast, but then you're a mesmer primary, and some new problems come with that.
That being said, you need to make a separate pvp character when you pvp, they are all-in-all much more efficient than PvE characters.
Fire is a viable avenue for PvP, but some great points were made about Air being faster, and AoE spells being ineffective against organized teams

Some thoughts:
Just use Arcane Echo, go single Echo and take Glyph of Renewal as
your elite.
Glyph -> Shower#1 -> Echo -> Shower#2 -> Glyph -> Shower#1.....repeat

^ that's actually my most effective echo'ing build.
But for pure ele, I use this:
renewal / shower / shower / renewal / storm / storm - searing heat and fireball in between.
